God has correctly found us all guilty of sin and because we cannot pay the debt of our sin, we are trapped by it. So God showed His incredible mercy in providing for our salvation through Christ.
ABOUT DAVID MELIN
Family: I was born on July 9, 1054 in Roswell, New Mexico. My family moved to El Paso in 1960. I married Becky Mull on July 22, 1978. We have four children: Charles, Cheryl (who is married to Dwayne and is the mother of our three grandsons- Justin, Donovan, Dorian), Cherish, and Abigail.
Education: I graduated from Bel Air in 1972. I earned a BA in Social Studies and Special Education in 1976 from UTEP and my Masters from Texas Tech in Special Education in 1980.
Salvation: I was saved in October of 1977. Within a few years, I was asked to be a Bible Teacher. I was ordained a Deacon in 1986.
Church: Becky and I joined Clint First Baptist Church in 2001, and we have been serving this church ever since.
FAVORITES
I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, chess, history videos, and walking. My favorite Christian authors include C.S.Lewis and Ravi Zacharias.
